......Blog Interrupted.......

Well where the heck did February go?
In a blur of viruses and hospital and doctors
appointments for our little Boo.
Eye tests, blood tests and a dry skin
condition round her eyes. You know
just for something else to do/worry about.
I am hoping we are now on top of these things.
Please be nicer to us March.

Lala went away for a few days with her
school too. Our little girl left home for two
days. She has never really done that before.
It was tough missed her so much.
She missed us too and brought back a
lovely cough and cold. Of course.
I don't think she was overly keen
on the whole event.
But I guess doing a very
outdoorsy activity based break in the
middle of February when it was freeeeezzzing
possibly did not help.
She also turned nine at the beginning of February too.
We had a cinema trip (her choice) and family round to celebrate.

And in the middle of the month my friend
Mad Miss and her other half came round for a belated
birthday meal. As she had a rather big birthday in January.
A bit late but she enjoyed it. It was a rather fun night.
With a Jamie Oliver roast chicken recipe being the
star of the show. A few cocktails and much catching up.

And in amongst all that there has been some making.
More on that in my next post though.
Hope I haven't been forgotten,
I will be honest in amongst all the real life stuff I have
been struggling with my blog for a while.
It sometimes feels an up hill climb.
A voice if not lost maybe not so much heard.
I tend to have interest in this blog but not so many comments.
Is this a new trend?
I must say though thanks to those that have always shown
an interest and take the time to say hi.
It keeps this blog going knowing that you are not just
chuntering on to yourself.

Mind I get the best answers when I do that usually ;0)

Hello Paula! I have just found you through the side bar on Greenthumb's blog. This is a lovely place. Don't worry about the comments so much. I used to worry that people would read but not comment. Just think of all the people you reach just by blogging. Now I know you are here I will drop by again!

Sorry to hear about all the coughs and hospital appointments, always a worry when one of the little ones isn't well.
Belated birthday wishes to a new 9 year old too!

It's always such a pleasure to find a blog post from you, the paper flowers take me back to school holidays and spending time with my crafty Grandma and make me feel very nostalgic and wistful! The bulb box looks heavenly!
Sorry to hear about Little Boo, I've had that horrible skin condition around my eyes on and off for most of my life and swear by that Eau Thermale eye cream in Boots, far better than any medical creams. xxxx

Sorry to read that your girl's not been well. And of course we've not forgotten you!

I've no idea if it's any consolation but I'm pretty certain blog comments are down overall. As you know I used to get a lot but although unique visitors to my blog have increased 30% in the last three months comment numbers are falling.

Hope eveyone's feeling better Paula, it can be draining when the little ones keep getting sick. I know how you feel about your daughter being away. My daughter went away with the school for five days when she was eleven and I was counting the hours until she came home, though she was having a great time. I hope you don't give your blog up, I've not been here that long and I'm still getting to know you here! I think I would still write my blog even if I wasn't getting any comments at all, but it is lovely to get them. I always try to leave a comment when I read a blog, even if I'm really late, as I often am, because I know how much it means to me when I get one. xx
